US woman dies in fall from bus in Virgin Islands
Wed Jul 6, 2011
I lived in the USVI from 2002 to 2004; I can't fathom how someone could fall off a safari--unless they were drunk or not sitting down.
Jaguar, once nearly extinct, bares claws

Actually; the XJ has been one of the most reliable luxury cars out there. I've owned three (94, 99, 2005) and my mother has owned roughly 10 throughout the years. The 87 was a nightmare, pure and simple--but the more recent ones 1998-2003 range and the 2004-2009 were very good cars.

You also have to remember that the Crown Estate was given to the UK Treasury in exchange for eternal payments of the Civil List (the 8 million Pounds she receives).
Generosity of an heiress: four homes for a nurse, gifts for attorney's family

Nope; FIAT stands for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino Quit with the stereotyping that MAY have been valid a few decades ago--and don't speak before you've actuallly driven a modern one. Uninformed opinions are about as useful as Sheyla Hershey's fake additions...

I have a FIAT now; have had it for 4 years and driven it thousands of miles. Other than regular maintenance--it's been extremely reliable. Oh... And it's 32 years old... So, perhaps the perception of "old Fiat's / Alfas suck" is beyond exaggerated??
Anheuser-Busch gets unsolicited bid
Wed Jun 11, 2008
Mike Licht Cindy McCain owns an Anheuser-Busch distributorship. If a Belgian company buys AB, will Mrs. McCain need to register as a foreign agent? 0!#47 - Thu Jun 12, 2008 11:21 AM MDT As amusing as it is asinine.
Anheuser-Busch gets unsolicited bid

I presume that all of you who are outraged at the thought of a foreign company buying a local brand are similarly outraged that Staples (of the US) is buying Corporate Express (of Europe)--right??
Apple announces $199 iPhone 3G
Mon Jun 9, 2008
I have the current 8 gig; will buy the newer 16 gig--younger bro will get the current phone... Kind of have to laugh at all of those $500+ listings on eBay for the current model, though, don't ya??
